Krause Group Welcomes Damon Wenig as National Preneed, Funeral Expense Trust Director

Wenig will play an instrumental role in educating and guiding people through the intricacies of funeral planning, with an emphasis on explaining how to facilitate asset preservation in a crisis planning scenario. Wenig will foster relationships with funeral directors nationwide as well as advance the company’s preneed funeral products and funeral expense trust offerings.

Wenig brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Krause Group. Damon’s extensive background includes owning and operating funeral homes, which provides him with a unique insight into working directly with consumers and professionals throughout the funeral planning process. Wenig passionately believes that preneed funeral products and funeral expense trusts go beyond asset preservation. He sees them as a continuation of care for consumers and their families. Wenig emphasizes the importance of funeral planning not only as a means for long-term care planning professionals to build rapport, but also as a way to ensure that the policyholder’s wishes are honored, ultimately alleviating the burden on their loved ones.
